Importing header row of excel spreadsheet as a string array
Show older comments
I have an excel table that I want to import into MATLAB, but I would like to assign a variable to the header row as a string array. I know I can do this by manually selecting the first row in the 'import data' section, but I would like to add it into my script to save time. The script I am writing will be used for many different sized tables of data, so ideally I don't want to have to specify a range of rows.

Hi,
You can use "detectImportOptions".
Please read the following documentation for more information
Hope this helps!
