How to make QR Code Image Reader in Matlab

I need help with a piece of work that I am doing, I Have to devise and implement a QR code reader using a short Matlab script to generate a 29 x 29 binary array to represent the QR Code image that will be read (0 Represents a black cell; 1 Represents a white cell)

What difficulty did you encounter implementing the code that other people have posted when they asked about qr codes? What difficulty did you have with the File Exchange contributions to read qr code?
