ground track satellite velocity

I would like to calculate the ground velocity of satellite based on latitude because Earth velocity changes with latitude(Earth radius is different with latitude). with ground velocity I wanted to calculate ground distance travelled by the satellite.

Can you show the velocity formula and describe your coding problem in the computaion of the formula?
