How to rotate symbol in Sign Editor in RoadRunner

When placing a symbol in the sign editor there is no way to rotate the symbol. I need a straight arrow pointing to the left but there are only up, down, 45 degree, and curves in the asset library so I thought I could just rotate a downward facing arrow, or something like that. Is there a way to do this in RoadRunner or do I need to edit the symbol in a graphics program and then bring it back into RoadRunner?

Unfortunately, rotation is a capability limitation with the 2D Sign Editor in RoadRunner. Our developers are aware of this issue and may consider incorporating it in a future release of RoadRunner.
As a workaround, you can import custom signs created with external software.
