State space initial conditions
Show older comments
Hi
I'm new to this so my question is simple, but I couldn't find it online. Does anybody know how to compute a state space equetion with initial conditions? so for example you have:
A=[1 4; 2 4];
B=[1; 0];
C=[1 0];
D=0;
%then :
sys=ss(A,B,C,D);
t = 0:0.01:10;
u = ones(1,length(t));
lsim(sys,u,t)
but what if x(0)=[0;1]? How do I incorporate this in the equetion?

Next time, please apply {}code format as you see it now.

help lsim or doc lsim
LSIM(SYS,U,T,X0) specifies the initial state vector X0 at time T(1) (for state-space models only). X0 is set to zero when omitted.
