FixedStepDiscrete" solver cannot be used to simulate block diagram 'SimscapeOnramp'

I can't seem to get any of the simscape onramp simulations to run. I always get this comment:

FixedStepDiscrete" solver cannot be used to simulate block diagram 'SimscapeOnramp'

I was able to work around the problem by adjusting parameters (simultion time, variable priority, solver model and time step) but none of this was in the Simscape Onramp instructions.

Glad to hear you found a workaround. This is not expected behavior. In order to help us improve the product, can you let me know: to you have any 3rd party packages related to hardware or virtual labs installed? Or any Simulink customizations, perhaps provided by your institution?
