Hi I would like to solve equation that goes something like...

With one equation in two unknowns, no solution likely exists unless analytic expressions for
or
(preferably both) exist, or a separate relation between the two functions exists that can be used to define them (so it then becomes two equations in two unknowns, a tractable problem).

You do not give us formula for

? And the relevance of η is not clear? You do not indicate that it is a constant, for example.
