How to write a code for plotting a Poincare map for the analysis of a double pendulum and also How to simulate the motion of the double pendulum.

I am working on a project involving the Analysis of a double pendulum. I want to plot Poincare maps and the birfucation plots for this system to reveal it's chaotic behaviour. I am not sure if One can help me with the code that does this and also simulations the motion for different initial conditions. Even a text i can read to know how its done will be appreciated.
In my previous question that i sent the last time i sent here a code which i used for producing some plots for this system. Now, my interest is to know how i can modify it to get Poincare maps, birfucation diagrams or Even the Lyapunov constants to say.

You will find a couple of contributions on the file exchange for Poincare-maps, the first seems promising: FEX-hits on "poincare map".
For a description of a couple of general algorithms you might find this paper interesting: Computing accurate Poincaré maps.
