Matlab on AWS Virtual Machine

Hi, Can I procure a student version of Matlab and run it in a VM on Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure? Please clarify. Thanks and regards, Sriram

Mathworks staff specifically says "MATLAB on Amazon EC2 is not available for users with MATLAB Student or MATLAB Home."
In order to use that service you need to use a Login Named User license. Those LNU licenses are not available for Student or Home licenses.
I do not find any restriction listed that would prevent an Academic license from using AWS, but the LNU facility does have to be enabled for the user by the license administrator.
