colour segmentation in images

i need colour segmentation algorithm my choice is based on region growth. thnk you for your help.

Very well. The formula you need is the top one on the page marked "71" in http://imaging.utk.edu/~koschan/paper/coseg.pdf . Pay no attention to anything else in that paper (including the written description) or else you will be at risk of accidentally having to think about what you are doing.
