Support for other Raspberry Pi operating systems.

Are there any plans to support other - non Raspberry Pi fundation based - operating systems / distros? For example Ubuntu 21.04 for Raspberry Pi. While playing around and trying to make this work... through the add-on manager / Hardware Setup wizzard I get several package and library install errors on the host machine (running Windows 10). From the limited error information provided it apprease to be as simple as a file path problem (e.g. /boot/config.txt on Buster [05/0721] is in /boot/firmware/config.txt on Ubuntu 21.04). I'm sure it is a little more complicated than that but I can't see the source of the packages and libraries the Hardware Setup wizzard is applying to the Pi and apt-get on the Pi can't locate the missing packages / libraries.

No. There are too many Linux distros, and they change too quickly and in too many incompatible ways, and would require continual retesting every time a package used anywhere in the OS was updated The work to support more than one or two is too costly.

However, you could open an enhancement request to document which packages are brought in and which configuration entries are used.
