Displaying data in a printable matlab table
Show older comments
In the code below, I want to be able to display the t versus x values(usual table of values in algebra) in a printable table
t=0:30:360; x =0.5*sind(t) clf plot(t, x, '-sk', 'LineWidth', 2) table=[t',x'] The last line/command gives me a border-less table whose data mixed up/merged when exported to a word document. Please how may one create a printable matlab table containing data?

Use dlmwrite() to write the table data to a textfile or xlswrite() into excel.

Check the documentation for dlmwrite() function using "doc dlmwrite" and it can print it to a deliminated file for import. or use xlswrite() function to write to an excel file for copy+paste into word. No Builtin functions to display in bordered table for insertion into word. There are files on the fileexchange but you should search for them.
There are more complicated ways using activeX controls. Look online for better tutorials on how to control WORD with MATLAB.
http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/102892-how-can-i-export-a-matlab-matrix-a-as-a-table-in-microsoft-word in 2012 says its not a built in function.
