I have stored some color values in an array.but it has some exponential values..how i normalise this values in matlab

dlmwrite('fr.mat',a) b=dlmread('fr.mat')

So what if it has values that can be expressed in exponential notation. To normalize to 0-1 just do it like you would any array
minValue = min(a(:));
maxValue = max(a(:));
normalized_a = (a - minValue) / (maxValue - minValue);
