Trouble plotting right phase portraits!

I have a system of 2 non linear first order Ordinary Differential Equations with constant coefficients. I am trying to draw the phase portrait of this system.

The questions are:

(1) Is it possible to see which equilibrium point is stable and which is unstable (more clearly)? Right now it is not clear from the phase portrait the way the arrows are drawn. Length of the arrows is too small to notice their direction.

(2) Can I somehow ask my code to compute trivial (zero) equilibrium and show the direction field around that as well? In the plot that i am getting, it doesn't give the zero equilibrium.
