Matlab 2014a installation file error

When I try to run it, it says "Could not create "." - unzip operation cancelled." The word-around is to unzip it manually.

Did you save the file and then try to run it or did you try to run it directly from the downloader utility? If it's Windows and you stored the installer in certain folders (like anywhere under c:\program files), then you could run into trouble.
