Hi i have windows 7 64 bit and matlab R2008a.I have a problem in simulating a simple model in simulink giving error specefied below. please help me in this problem . thanks

What happens if you delete the 'slprj' directory and simulate again?

Try to add your model to the same path that is shown in the matlab window, this may be help you.
