simulink- too much connections?

hello,
i want to build a Fuzzy model with the anfis gui. then i want to use the .fis in simulink, because i need the realtime workshop.
the problem is, that the generated fis has about 1000 rules. and simulink does not load it correctly. blocks or connections (>2000) are missing..
is there a maximum number of connections in one model? or can i change it?
thanks

I am not particularily strong with the Fuzzy Logic Controller block, but when I tried it a while ago, I recognized too, that the number of blocks and signals was quite high when looking under the mask.
I am not aware of a theoretical limitation of Simulink and Real-Time Workshop with regards to numbers of signals. I know of customer models with >100.000 blocks and more, so at least that should not be the cause of what you are observing.
Also: I remember very well that my professor (quite a while ago...) recommended to keep fuzzy controllers simple. He said one should not use more than 5 MFs and avoid more than a handlful of inputs to keep the number of rule healthy.

Hi,
well you have already 3000 rules when you choose 5 MFs and 5 inputs. Thats not really much, i think.
hmm, if simulink normally can handle that, perhaps the problem is the loader for the fis structure.
thanks..
