This model consists of an Electric railway DC 750V Traction Power Supply System (TPSS) fed from 33kV for harmonic distortion study. It comes with THDi, THDv, TDD and Power factor measurement.
It demonstrates how single tuned passive harmonic filter bank applied at low voltage side can reduce the Total Harmonic Distortion current (THDi), 11th order and 13th order harmonic to the 33kV supply based on IEEE Std 519-2014 standard.
Comment out the filter bank to simulate harmonic caused by electric railway TPSS without filtering.
