An algorithm to compute the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) for a Separately Excited DC Motor using Similarity-Based Algo.
This presents a effective Predictive Maintenance system based on the sensor data
collected through Simulation and determining its Remaining Useful Life (RUL) for a Separately
Excited DC Motor before the failure of machine which in turn can tell when to do maintenance
effectively. When estimating the RUL of Motor, Similarity Model is used to determine it as it
works efficiently and give more accurate result when Run-to-Failure Data is available.
