My take on LEGO Mindstorms EV3 holonomic platform using three omniwheels. Mostly for high schoolers to demonstrate that engineering is fun.
Holonomic platform on three omniwheels. Please read the attached .m file for more details. If you like it and would like me to upload more EV3 Simulink and equivalent Python "projects", please let me know in the comment section. The idea of buying EV3 was born in 2018. My then 8-year-old daughter Julia came across http://mindcuber.com/ on YouTube, and she wanted it badly. And we got hooked. Alright, I got hooked :) Guess what comes naturally after the omniwheel moving platform. Yeah, you're right, a ballbot. See YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UPRloKwicM .
