VSC based HVDC system
The Sending end converter (SEC) controls the AC and DC voltage while the receiving end converter (REC) controls the active power (P) and reactive power (Q). Both converters use current controllers.
- The active power set point is changed at 1 second from 1 pu to 0.8 pu.
-The reactive power set point is changed at 1.2 seconds from 0 to -0.2 pu.
Both converters use the consumer oriented sign convention.
Simulation of the faults is not implemented in the model but can be extended.
