Simple finger normalisation
Simple finger normalisation, it aligns the finger to the centre of the image using an affine transformation. Elliptic projection which is described in the referenced paper is not implemented. Parameters for the affine transformation are estimated by fitting a straight line through the midpoints of the upper and lower detected finger edges. A possible method for detecting finger edges is given here:
