getSeasonStartDate.m
Version 1.0.0.0 (5.85 KB) by
Anthony Bathgate
Returns the year, month, day, hour and minute of the start of the requested season.
It uses a lookup table (with data taken from NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies' Climate Model Simulations page) to return the time of the start of the requested season.
This function was first written to help me divide measurements by season so I could look for seasonal patterns in our data.
