DBC Network Explorer is a MATLAB® app for exploring, validating, and comparing CAN network database (`.dbc`) files.

DBC Network Explorer is a CAN database analysis and navigation app that enables engineers to browse, validate, visualize, and compare DBC files. The application provides a hierarchical tree browser for exploring databases, ECU nodes, messages, signals, and multiplexed signal groups, along with a detailed property panel and interactive bit layout visualization that clearly shows signal placement within messages using color-coded byte and bit grids for both Intel and Motorola formats. Users can rapidly locate content through live search and filtering, validate database integrity using built-in checks for common modeling errors, and compare two DBC files to identify added, removed, or modified messages, signals, and attributes. The tool also includes Tx/Rx mapping views to analyze communication relationships between ECUs, supports recent-file access for quick workflow continuity, and allows multiple DBC files to be loaded and browsed simultaneously.
