Load Flow Analysis with STATCOM for Power Systems

load flow analysis in electrical power systems with the incorporation of STATCOM control.
The program begins by reading input data from a file and initializing system parameters. It then processes the data to extract relevant information about buses, generators, loads, transmission lines, and STATCOM placements. The Y-bus matrix is formed based on the network topology and line parameters. The Newton-Raphson method is applied in an iterative manner to calculate the load flow, with adjustments made to STATCOM control variables during each iteration. The load flow solution converges when the mismatch between the calculated and specified values is minimized.
The STATCOMs provide reactive power compensation to control bus voltage magnitudes and improve system stability. The results are displayed, showing the final voltage magnitudes and phase angles at each bus, as well as the STATCOM control variables (Vsh and Thst). The program can be used for power system analysis and optimization to ensure stable and efficient operation.
