The data file may be in ASCII, Binary, Binary32 or Float32 format.

IEEE C37.111-2013: This international Standard defines a formart for files containing transient waveform and event data collected from power systems

This involves the opening of four files,

- Configuration (.cfg)

- Data (.dat)

- Header (.hdr) - optional

- Information (.inf)- optional

The data file may be in ASCII, Binary, Binary32 or Float32 format.

Open the comtrade files & extract the data

ReadComtrade(filename) for input filename without the file extension or if it doesn't exist call uigetfile function.

Imports data from the specified file

filename: files to read: .cfg, .dat, .hdr and .inf
