How to use a Spectrum scope in Matlab Simulink

Hello I am learning the matlab and I want to plot the frequency spectrum of a simple sine wave signal in simulink. I am using the spectrum scope but i could not see any graph turning up what is the problem?? In what way should I use to get it worked...
Can any one please help

My suggestion is you open an example model (AKA demo) and see how the block works and what may be different in what you tried. Open

This has a "Spectrum Analyzer" block (so it is called in my R2013a installation. You may want to switch the follwing settings in order to compare the demo and your model:
Menu Display -> Signals & Ports -> Port Data Types
Menu Display -> Signals & Ports -> Signal Dimensions
