Arduino for Simulink Support Package Installed and Works Fine for Me, but NOT for Other Users
Show older comments
I'm a professor and I've just installed the Arduino for Simulink Support Package on about a dozen of our lab PCs with MATLAB R2013a and corresponding Simulink. The package is installed and works fine for me, but does NOT work properly for my student users. The Tools menu in Simulink looks just fine when I'm logged in. However, when students log onto those same PCs, it looks like the package is installed because it shows up in the list of Support Packages in the Simulink library browser, but when they click Tools > Run on Target Hardware, they don't see the "Prepare to Run", "Run", and other such options. Instead, they see only a menu choice for downloading and installing the support package. When we go that route and repeat the download & install that I've already done, nothing changes even after a restart of MATLAB & Simulink. Could this be an Admin rights issue? Or do I need to do something special with the package installation to make it accessible to all users? Thanks in advance!

I'm running a individual student version and I'm having the same problem, or quite similar. When I run the first time, after installation of add-on, it's ok, I have everything. But the second time, when I open the libraries no one appears. I've tried your solution, but it doesn't run, it misses something. I know where the files have been copied, but witch is the current file ?
Can't run, it gives error: «Error using copyfile No matching files were found.»
