How to rotate an image around the y-axis by using a rotation matrix

3 views (last 30 days)
Hello
I have a grayscale image which I want to rotate about the y-axis by using the rotation matrix below.
rotation_Matrix = [cos(angle) -sin(angle);sin(angle) cos(angle)];
where angle is in radians.
I have tried multiplying the matrix by the size of the grayscale image, also tried maketform and affine and/or projective. However, I am not getting the desired result.
I will be grateful if someone can help me.
Thank You.

Why not just use imrotate() ?

I have also tried the imrotate but it did not suit me for later processing. By the way, am working as per the algorithms mentioned in the paper "Vascular pattern recognition using CLAHE and median filtering methods".
Thank You
