Does Matlab HDL Verifier support Simulink SimPowerSystems' blocks?

I'm planning to use FPGA in the loop (FIL) with Matlab HDL Verifier and my main concern is whether HDL verifier support SimPowerSystems blocks. This is important because my application involve solar power inverter using IGBT switches and I want to build a plant model based on IGBT blocks as well as many other power components included in SimPowerSystems block library. The FPGA hardware will interface with this plant model via HDL verifier and the ethernet port.

One more question: Can I run the described plant model real-time in FIL?

My FPGA development kit is a Xilinx Spartan 6 SP605 Evaluation board.

As long as the SimPowerSystems blocks are outside the FIL subsystem, then what you want to do should work.

So what you mean is that the fpga hardware can interact with SimPower Systems' blocks?

Yes,I believe so. I am not aware of any restrictions on the non-FPGA contents of a design involving HDL Verifier. You might want to check the HDL Verifier documentation for confirmation.
