What does "outputs" field in functionSignatures do? How to provide method hints for functions that return objects?

Hi,
I read this documentation about how to add function and argument hints:
I saw that there is the possibility to add an "outputs" field, but what does it do and what can I set there?
I was hoping that it enables method hints if a function returns an object. For example, if the result of "myMethod" is a class, I would like to have the usual class method suggestions when calling myMethod:
someObject.myMethod(). % <- press tab here
But I cant get this to work with the "outputs" field. Does anyone know how this works?

neither the "outputs" field in functionSignatures nor the arguments(Output)/end block allows you to do what you want. I'd love to be able this kind of tab-completion, too
