hi I have this code so far but keep on getting an error when trying to plot it in 3D. I want to plot the equation....exp(i*x)=cos(x)+ (j*sin(x));
code
t = 0:.1:2*pi;
v= exp(i*x)=cos(x)+ (j*sin(x));
plot3(real(v),imag(v),t)
xlabel('x:real(v)')
ylabel('y:imag(v)')
zlabel('t')
grid on
axis square

Your equation has an odd mix of x and t. This works for me:
t = 0:.1:2*pi;
v = cos(t)+ (j*sin(t));
plot3(real(v),imag(v),t)
