Hello,
Can someone help with how to load Aspen Plus Dynamics in MATLAB. Also, if I want to use an Aspen Plus Dynamics Model in Simulink which block is appropriate? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello!
More than a year has passed since you asked this question. You may have already found an answer or maybe you've given up. I found something that is currently helping me get started with this. I am also having difficuly linking matlab 2014a simulink with Aspen Dynamics v8.4. When I click on the AMSimulink block I get the message ErrorEvaluation "OpenFcn" Call back of M-S-Function block AMSimulink/Aspen Modeler Block Server Creation Failed: Class not registered
Could this be an incompatability of Matlab 2014a(64 bit) with Aspen Dynamics V8.4 (32 bit)?

Based on my experience, Aspen Dynamic will only work with 32bits Matlab. You can find this option in Matlab (2014a). It works well!

In Aspen V.9 you can select more than 9 variables. Now,the problem in Aspen v.9 is only shows inputs-outputs variables, not for example SPO(steady state points) for controllers.
