What is the difference between matlab mobile and matlab r2020a?

I am taking a class this fall that has requested that every student have access to r2020a, however i have switched from using a laptop to using an iPad Pro (3rd gen) as my only computer, which seems to only run matlab mobile. What are the differences between the two versions and should i likely be okay to complete the class or will I have to go and find a laptop that can support r2020a?

Here is an overview of Matlab Mobile. Scroll to the bottom to System Requirements > Limitations to see a list of features not supported on Matlab Mobile. Your course may or may not require some of the features not supported in Matlab mobile.
If you need to write code for the course, I can't imagine doing so without a keyboard but that's just my opinion. If you have acces to university computers that you can use to write code, and if the code does not rely on any of the limitation for Matlab Mobile, perhaps you could develop code on the computer and then run it as needed from your phone using the cloud connection.

Thank you, i have the keyboard accessory for my IPad so writing code on it wouldn’t be an issue

Good! Check with your professor or see the course syllibus to determine if you'll need to run any of the apps such as Curve Fitting, creating apps in App Designer, 3D figure interaction, or Simulink models.
