It is quite frustrating when writing documents in MATLAB Live editor to find there is no spellcheck facility.

This issue has been brought to notice of concerned people and it might be considered in any future release. As a workaround, you can refer to this link

Thanks! I think it is very important missing feature of Live Editor (not so much of usual editor), which is "sold" by MathWorks as a kind of " rich text executable document" creating environment.
Recently Windows 10 got the feature of "typing" correction/suggestions (Win10->Settings->Typing), [it seem to use "SwiftKey"] but it does not seem to be supported within MATLAB.
The mentioned "workaround" is not quite a solution as one need to check spelling of e.g. whole live scripted document (e.g. I'm writing MATLAB lecture notes for PC Labs for example), rather than querying separate words. Fastest way is just copy-paste text content of Live script to Word and then back, but original live-editor formatting may be lost in the process....

This link might help you to have spell check on the entire files with only text sections (Including code may change it too)

"Will MATLAB Live editor ever support spellcheck?"
You should assume that the answer to all questions about whether MATLAB will ever support a particular feature, is NO.
There are an infinite number of features to be implemented, and a finite amount of resources and time to implement them, so the statistical probability is a finite number divided by infinity, which is Zero.
In extremely limited cases, some Mathworks insiders have knowledge of features that are scheduled to be released within a few months. However, Only the product managers and upwards are authorized to release information about forthcoming releases. Oh, and Sales.
If the matter is important to you, ask your Sales person, who might be able to get some response under Non-disclosure Agreement. But the people who read your question here either don't know or cannot tell you what they know.
