How do I convert or save data from excel as asc file in order to analyse it using MATLAB.

I have data to analyse with MATLAB but I am unable to convert the data to asc file so I can start looking at scores and loadings results. Is anybody able to give me a detailed description as to how to go about this matter. Thank you

You might not have to convert it to an ascii file.
