how to open an excel, find a string and then move down two cellls and paste data using matlab script ?

Are you trying to manipulate the excel file in place directly, or is it possible to read the excel file, make replacements, and then rewrite the file again.
In first case, you will need to use activeX server: https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/actxserver.html, it will only work on windows system. For the second case, you can use readtable to read and writetable to again rewrite the data to excel file.
