Xilinx Vivado 2019.1 or 2018.3 support?

Here in this link it says that the HDL Workflow Advisor is tested with Xilinx Vivado Design Suite 2018.2 as a third-party FPGA synthesis tool.

However, this version of Xilinx Vivado is not supported by Xilinx and it is recommended to at least instal 2018.3. They also have 2019.1. ( https://www.xilinx.com/support/download.html )

My question is that is this version very strict? Can't I use latest 2019.1 version?

Currently October 2019 and Matlab/Simulink release 2019b. What is the status regarding support for Vivado 2019.1? Thanks.

MATLAB R2020a supports Xilinx Vivado 2019.1 as synthesis tool for HDL Workflow Advisor.

Hello,

the latest version of a Xilinx Tool, usually, supports the previuos one.

So, you can use 2019.1.
