i have created a solid hollow cylinder using CAD software. after that i have changed the geometry file to .stl file for import into matlab. hollow cylinder had 4 faces. i want to get xyz coordinates of a particular face of the hollow cylinder.

The faces in an stl file are normally the indices to the vertices matrix, so you'll have to use them both to get the coordinates for one particular face.
Kindly explain me with an example
Just as with your previous question (which you haven't accepted yet, or forgot to comment how it didn't work for you), you didn't attach your file.

download stlread function from file exchange. Or Google stlread.
