I have downloaded a trial version of Matlab on my laptop which is configured for dual boot.I am trying to install Matlab on the Linux partition. I have downloaded the zip file and have followed the installation procedure as instructed but I am getting the following error: "The following error was detected while installing 3p/jre_glnxa64: archive is not a ZIP archive Would you like to retry installing 3p/jre_glnxa64? If you press No, the installer will exit without completing the installation. More information can be found at /tmp/mathworks_root.log" I believe it is some java installation problem but I maybe wrong. I am the sole user and was trying to install it with administrator privilege using gksudo ./install command. The installation stops at 2% everytime. I have tried downloading the zip file and redoing the whole process again but the error remains same. Can someone help me with the fix please.
