Open struct field directly with ctrl+d

3 views (last 30 days)
Hi, suppose that I have a main struct with some fields as the example:
Data.A = [1 2 3];
Data.B = [4 5 6];
Data.C = [7 8 9];
It is possible to open directly "Data.A" with ctrl+d? I tried but Matlab give a errore message (file do not exist). In practice Matlab recognice "Data.A" as a file in the folder and not as a variable in the workspace. For this reason the only way to open "Data.A" is to open "Data" and after that, open A.
Can someone help me?

AFAIK: No, it's not possible to open directly "Data.A" with ctrl+d
