Hi MATLAB experts,
I am trying to perform a mixed effects model to test a relationship between 2 data of blood flow and volume across brain areas, holding brain areas to be constant (fixed effects) and the patients as a random effect.
For example, each data for blood flow and volume consists of 100 values. I have 50 patients.
Currently I am testing the relationship using
[r,p]=corr(bloodflow(:),volume(:),'type','Pearson');
The bloodflow and volume variables are two matrices (patients x brain areas).
Now I want to correct for the interdependency due to the many measurements from each patient (i.e. the brain areas). Can anyone provide some advice about this please? Thank you very much.
