(Phase replicated subarray) Possibility of giving different phases manually within each subarray

Hi, I am using phased array toolbox to design a phased array antenna for beamforming. Now my question is, I already designed an 8X1 antenna array using phased.replicatedsubarray. While replicating the subarray, the steering is provided at subarray level. However I already read in the documentation that the phasing with in each subarray is controlled by 'subarray steering property'. This means that the phase within each subarray will be controlled via phase shifters.
But is there any way to manually adjust the phase with in each subarray. For example assume I am replicating 2 element subarray to form 8 element array. While calculating the steering vector, we obtain one phase at each subarray and now I want to additionally include phases of [0 62] for each element of subarray. so by this first element gets an additional phase of 0 deg and second element get additional phase of 62 deg. Is there any way to get this done?
2) Could some one specify how phases are provided by subarray steering property.
Any answers are appreciated.
BR, Sri
