plot the result of findpeaks() and original signal on same plot

The plots of findpeaks() and original signal have different x axes scales,hence I am unable to overlay one on top of the other. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!

They actually do not have different scales. (We do not have your code, so I am guessing here.) The locations of the peaks returned by findpeaks are indices unless you gave it the x-vector as an argument. You can get the x-axis values with the appropriate reference.

Example —

[pks,locs] = findpeaks(y);
x_peaks = x(locs);

I got the data from your ‘.fig’ file, returning the 'line' values in ‘L’. Your data are ‘L(2)’, and I used them to find and then plot the peaks.

The peaks are actually not a smooth curve, but if you want to plot them that way, change the second plot call to plot a line instead of the markers:

plot(x,y,'-r',  x_peaks,pks,'-g')
grid

That should do what you want.

I have no idea. I had to look up what ‘Swift’ was. It’s apparently an iOS programming language, and since I have an Android, have no reason to learn ‘Swift’.

You need to ask whoever is responsible for ‘Swift’, or MathWorks.
