How many cores does matlab 2016a support?

Looking at using Matlab 2016a in a compute cluster, how many workers does matlab support? Thanks.

Basically, as many as you license for the Distributed Computing Server. Thousands, if you can afford that.

Note: if you are running locally instead of on a remote cluster, using the Parallel Computing Toolbox, then the answer is "All of them". Though I don't know if it has been really tested beyond 30000 cores.
