Starburst algorithm for eye tracking any help with putting code together and making it real time

hi again guys,

another (probably stupid) eye tracking question. I found this algorithm (starburst) and the paper on it is exactly what I would want to track the eyes. I THINK I understand the theory but when I tried to put it together in matlab I can't get it to work. At the moment i am working with the visible light one before even attempting to get the infrared one to work (also missing infrared hardware).

I believe the first thing I need to do is: extract_images_from_video()

but this means it is coming from a video that is already recorded? Is there not a way I can do this from live video? I am assuming this is the first step in the algorithm but if I am wrong then please let me know!!

I have attached the zip file with all the steps in the algorithm and any help would be massiveeeely appreciated or guidance etc etc

Did you get the solution? How did you make it work for live videos? I have the exact same problem.
