Hi,
I am trying to control my DSLR Camera (Nikon D60) through the USB port on my laptop and matlab. I would like to use it to adjust the camera's settings and take a picture at regular intervals. Nikon does sell software to do this, but I would like to do this using matlab. Is it possible to connect to the camera? I tried the image acquisition toolbox, but it doesn't recognize the camera as a device.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi,
I have the same problem but with Nikon D300. Matlab is not recognizing the camera. I need to write a script that is able to control the cmera and save the images directly to the computer's hard disk.
Thanks

Use the DSLR Camera Controller:
To work you will also need to install and and run digiCamControl v2.0.69+, which is free and open source but only runs on windows.
