how to create a .mat file for loading into svmclassify?

how to create a .mat file for loading data into svmclassify? i m getting the following error Error using load Unable to read file 'data': no such file or directory.

what type of data you have??? and what type of data you want to store into .mat file..??

use data.mat in your script when reading file
When you want to create a .mat file right click in your variable explorer and create a .mat file.
