How can i build a link between matlab and lumerical?

I want to run the lumerical simulation from the matlab window .. for example, an optimization code will be running in the matlab and it calls for the lumerical to run a simulation to calculate a certain fitness function .. can that be done ?

Hi Youssef,
In my understanding you want to integrate Lumerical Simulations into MATLAB scripts. I am afraid this feature is not offered by MATLAB.
However, when I look up the documentation provided Lumerical(link below) I see that it may be possible to do it the other way(from Lumerical -> MATLAB). If you have any other questions when you are trying to integrate MATLAB using the feature they offer, you may need to contact install@lumerical.com as the web page below suggests.

Youssef, The script integration feature mentioned by Adithya allows you to run MATLAB code from a Lumerical script. It is also possible to do the reverse (call Lumerical from MATLAB), although that tends to be a bit more complex and requires some familiarity with command line operations.
