How to get the depth of the medial axis

Hello, I was wondering how to calculate the depth of the medial axis (skeleton) of a 3d structure? as in the photos.

I don't know what you mean by depths. Do you mean the lengths from endpoint to branchpoint? Or do you mean a histogram of the skeleton multiplied by the Euclidean Distance Transform?

Oh i haven't seen ur reply till now .. I mean the lengths from endpoints to center points , that could indicate (if it has a sudden high value) whether this structure has a spherical shape like a nodule , or it's a long thin vessel (if the depth values are low) as in the images above
